Based in San Marcos, Central Texas Provider Network (CTPN), is a non-profit physician-hospital organization formed by a group of local physicians and Central Texas Medical Center. The goal of CTPN is to contract with managed care companies to give more options to purchasers of health insurance. CTPN has contracts with several managed care companies providing coverage for more than 130 physicians in over 30 specialty areas.
